Taking the Reigns upstairs was Peter Brien aka Brién, a multi-instrumentalist, DJ & producer from Belfast. His sound can’t be placed in one box due to his wide range of influences, yet a strong sonic identity shines through his music, with genre-bending tracks spanning from Hip-hop, Jazz & Neo-soul to Broken-beat, House and Lo-fi. Since his debut EP in 2016 on Belfast label ‘Extended Play’, Brién has released records on a handful of exciting labels such as Soft Boy Records & Pear as well as performing in some of Irelands’ most reputable venues and festivals, such as Shine, AVA Festival, Dublin's’ Tengu, Twitch & more. Brién has been gaining recognition and support from the likes of Mr. Scruff, Bradley Zero, Laurent Garnier, Bicep, Moxie, Groove Armada & more.
